# Rent time-limited access

> Purchase a rental from the Rent page and recover a submitted payment without paying twice.

This guide covers rentals purchased from the dashboard's **Rent** page. The rental is ready when it appears under **Your rentals** and in the access selectors.

## Before you rent

You need:

* A Discord-authenticated dashboard account
* A Solana wallet registered under **Wallets**
* That same registered wallet connected in **Rent**
* Enough of the payment asset for the displayed amount
* A small SOL balance for Solana transaction and account-creation fees
* A current, supported browser

Choose from the tiers and durations shown in **Rent**. Before signing, confirm the asset or mint, amount, and destination in the wallet approval. Cancel the approval if any value is unexpected.

## Purchase a rental

    Choose **Rent** in the sidebar. Existing active rentals appear under **Your
    rentals**.

    Under **Choose a tier**, select a tier whose card offers active rental
    durations.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose a duration">
    Under **Choose a duration**, select one of the live options. The card shows
    the payment amount for that offer.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review the checkout state">
    Confirm the tier, duration, and displayed amount. In the wallet extension,
    verify the full paying address, asset or mint, destination, and amount
    before signing. The paying address must be registered to the Discord
    account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Submit one payment">
    Choose **Pay with USDC**, approve the transaction in the wallet, and keep
    the flow open while ThorNode verifies it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm activation">
    Wait for **Rental fulfilled**. The rental is active when its card appears
    under **Your rentals** and it becomes selectable in **Endpoints**.

<Warning>
  After approving a payment, do not choose **Pay with USDC** again or submit
  another transaction while verification is unresolved. If verification is slow,
  use the saved-payment flow before attempting another payment.

## Recover a submitted payment

Payments started from **Rent** are saved in the browser so verification can continue after an interruption. Return to **Rent** in the same browser profile and resume the saved payment instead of starting another checkout.

| State shown                  | What it means                                         | What to do                                                           |

| **Payment sent — verifying** | The signature is saved and verification is continuing | Wait or choose **Check now**; do not pay again                       |
| **Expired payment attempt**  | The saved attempt needs another verification check    | Choose **Check now**; do not start a second payment                  |
| **Rental fulfilled**         | Payment was accepted and access was assigned          | Open **Your rentals** and continue to **Endpoints**                  |
| **Payment cancelled**        | No payment was submitted                              | You can start a new checkout                                         |
| **Payment needs support**    | Automatic reconciliation cannot finish                | Keep the support code and contact official support; do not pay again |

If support is required, include the public paying wallet, transaction signature when available, any support code currently displayed, approximate payment time, and timezone. Never send a seed phrase, private key, endpoint token, or complete credential-bearing URL.

## After activation

Open **Endpoints**, select the rental, and use the products and locations shown for it. Create the credential required by your product. The rental's expiration remains visible in the dashboard.

Rentals purchased from **Rent** do not appear as renewable passes under **Renew**. To continue after expiration, purchase another available rental from **Rent**.

## Troubleshoot a rental
