# Refunds

> Request the refund policy or recover a payment without paying twice.

The current ThorNode refund policy is not hosted in this documentation. Contact [support@thornode.io](mailto:support@thornode.io) to request the policy or ask about a refund. Eligibility, timing, and payment method depend on the terms supplied for the purchase.

## Payment recovery or refund

| Situation                                          | What to do                                                                                                                                                              |
| -------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| A signed payment exists but access has not updated | Do not pay again. Keep the transaction signature and follow [payment recovery troubleshooting](/reference/troubleshooting#payment-is-signed-but-access-is-not-updated). |
| You want money returned                            | Contact support with the public transaction signature, paying public wallet, approximate payment time, and the product or pass involved.                                |

Never send a seed phrase, private key, endpoint token, replay key, Bifrost route URL, or another payment secret.
